Reasons You Always Feel Tired

People can fell tired now and again. But some people may feel it more than others. There are many reasons why we feel sluggish often during the day. It is important to know that so that you can be able to point it out and do what you need to do in order to correct it. Here are some of the main reasons that you should know about.

You do not drink enough water.
Dehydration can cause you to feel tired all the time. You can feel the different in energy levels if you just experience as little as two percent of fluid loss. Dehydration can cause your blood to thicken, making it harder for your heart to pump oxygen-rich blood and nutrients to your organs and muscles. In order to determine just how much water you need to drink daily to stay rehydrated, divide your weight in pounds into half. The result should be the number of ounces of water you need to drink daily.

You skip exercise.
Some people feel the need to rest when they feel tired when they should be doing their regular exercises. While it may seem the rational thing to do, skipping your exercise routine can actually cause you to feel even tired later on. Regular exercise, even just spending as little as 20 minutes on physical activities regularly, can help make your heart run more efficiently, providing your body with oxygen and nutrients more effectively. Skipping exercise will actually work against you and will cause you to become lazy later on.

You suffer from iron deficiency.
Lack of iron can lead to anemia, which is characterized of a reduction on red blood cells. This can prevent oxygen and other nutrients from getting to your organs and muscles, making you feel fatigued and sluggish. Try to boost iron intake by eating iron-rich foods like nuts, green, leafy vegetables, eggs and lean beef among others. It would even be better if you also take vitamin C, which can help improve iron absorption in your body. But you must also bear in mind that iron deficiency may also be a symptom of an underlying disease. If you have a prolonged issue with fatigue due to lack of iron, then you might need to consult a doctor to determine whether they is an underlying health condition that may be causing it.

Skipping breakfast.
Breakfast is the primary meal that gives your body the fuel it needs to function for the whole day. Skip it and you rob your body of the fuel it needs to work efficiently. It causes your body to switch into survival mode, slowing down your metabolism to conserve what it thinks is a lack of fuel to last longer.  Avoid skipping breakfast so you can avoid feeling tired at the start of your day.
